Interview 8

Tell us a little bit about yourself? Where are you from, etc?

I’m from Florida born and raised! Growing up I always knew I wanted to help others and am so blessed to be able to bring people together.

When did you start consuming cannabis and why?

I first started using cannabis in 9th grade to treat my ADHD and get off of ADHD medication. In 2013 I was diagnosed with Keinbock’s Disease as well as scoliosis and a straight neck. Kienbock’s Disease, also known as avascular necrosis of the lunate, is a condition in which the lunate bone – one of eight bones in the wrist – loses its blood supply, leading to the death of the bone. The lunate is a central bone in the wrist that is important for proper movement and support of the joint. There is no known cure for Kienbock’s, only treatments. By using cannabis I am able to live a mostly normal life and not take any of the pain killers that were prescribed to me.

Why do you consume cannabis now?

It helps me with everything from pain and nausea relief to helping me focus or relax depending on what I need from the plant.

What do you wish people understood about cannabis?

That it is such a completely custom experience! Just like how your body reacts differently to flavors and aromas, it’s the same thing with cannabis. Take time to learn what reacts best with YOUR unique makeup and you’ll be able to recreate the experience you need every time by knowing the right products and strengths to use.
