Interview 7

Tell us a little bit about yourself? Where are you from, etc?

I’m 34 years old and I was born in LA but lived most of my life in the San Francisco area. I’ve been working in the tech industry for most of my life until a year ago when I decided to drop everything and pursue a career in cannabis. Knowing very little I started as a budtender and worked my way up to online inventory and social media manager. I hope to find a more long-lasting career path in cannabis.

When did you start consuming cannabis and why?

I started consuming cannabis on a daily basis when I was around 26. It was recommended to me by my doctor after he couldn’t think of any more Rx ideas to treat my bipolar and social anxiety. Since then I’ve used it daily: CBD every morning, India drops at night for sleep (along with CBDN transdermal), and micro-dosing most of the day to help with stress and social anxiety.

Why do you consume cannabis now?

I consume it for the same reasons medically but I also use it to enhance my life. I have some Sativa edibles before the gym, use it to enjoy movies or music more, but also largely to connect with others. I’ve noticed that a lot of the people “invested” in cannabis are people that just haven’t felt they belonged in one way or another.

What do you wish people understood about cannabis?

I wish people understood how complex it is. Obviously it’s not just stoned or not stoned, but it’s also THC, CBD, THCa, CBN, terpenes, and the delivery methods for all of that is starting to cover just as much as Rx drugs. There are so many options for cannabis to succeed in making your life better that you just sound ignorant for saying that you “don’t want to get high”. I’ve tested a lot of medications and none of them worked as effectively, were as customizable, or were as safe as cannabis. You just have to figure out what works best for you.

Where can we find you; your IG handle, website, weed tube channel, etc?
